Personality: Topher is mostly always closed off to the world. He is not a sociable person, nor does he like to hang out at parties or in large groups of people. He tends to hang with smaller crowds that he actually has something in common with. He's weird about people touching him, he hates it and he cringes at the thought of someone taking advantage of him.

Family Members: Topher has no family to speak of.
Family History: Topher grew up in a large orphanage just outside London, England. He has no family that still remains living.
Band History: Jacob Christopher Knight, also known as Topher, started is his music career when he was only a small boy growing up in England. He grew up in an orphanage and never knew who his real parents were. He used to sing and beat on pots and pans for the kids in the orphanage to help brighten spirits. He was well-known all over that town as the kid who made music with anything. One time he used some trash cans and lids on the street and made a few pennies.
When Topher turned eighteen, he was eligible to leave the orphanage on his own, the day he left he jumped on a train illegally and made it to London. He played troubadour style on the streets for months trying to earn enough money to get to the states. He made it one day, and caught a flight to New York. He's been playing in Central Park ever since, until recently a label picked him up, and he's been playing local clubs and he's starting to tour. The label is also how he got the name "On Batteries". It comes from how Topher is always hyper like he's on drugs, and one of the producers he was working with referenced him as the Energizer Bunny on drugs, so "On Batteries" stuck. Most of his music is acoustic and electric guitar. He taught himself how to play. His sound is much like Jack Johnson meets McFly.
He is now 21 years old, and on a professional label. His single is on the radio and he has a CD about to be released. Everything in his life is working out, except his love life. It's a mess and he is having problems straightening it out.
